The new professional PRO 4K ULTRA HD digital video camera Panasonic AG-CX370 provides MOV format recording with 4K/60p/10-bit resolution and highly efficient HEVC/H.265 codec. It features a highly sensitive 15-megapixel MOS 1.0-type solid-state sensor (1-inch effective size) with high definition and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) technology for HDR recording, making it ideal for live broadcasts and social media content creation. The Panasonic AG-CX370 has broadcast-quality image adjustment with independent color correction across 16 axes.
Advanced IP broadcasting capabilities
The premium Panasonic AG-CX370 model features built-in IP connectivity with NDI® HX2 for data transmission over IP networks and camera control. When connected to NDI® -compatible devices such as switches and decoders, NDI® HX2 enables smooth, high-quality real-time IP video production. The Panasonic AG-CX370 supports direct 4K streaming via RTMP, RTMPS and RTSP protocols, as well as next-generation IP protocols like SRT. Compared to previous CX series cameras, the Panasonic AG-CX370 now supports 12G-SDI output, allowing uncompressed 4K video with low latency to professional broadcast equipment. The Panasonic AG-CX370 also supports simultaneous 4K output via SDI-HDMI outputs.
Wide-angle zoom lens for broadcast-quality shooting
The Panasonic AG-CX370 camera delivers excellent optical performance thanks to its powerful 24.5mm wide-angle zoom lens (35mm equivalent) with 20x optical zoom. It features high-precision autofocus technology with face detection, auto-tracking, and 5-axis hybrid image stabilization. The system detects and eliminates any unwanted camera shake, making the AG-CX370 ideal for stable shooting and tracking moving subjects.
Enhanced mobility and compatibility
The Panasonic AG-CX370 camera is designed for ease of use by production, broadcast, and live streaming professionals. Unlike the Panasonic AG-CX350 model, this camera features two balanced XLR inputs and a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack input. This supports up to four external microphones or line audio for 4-channel 24-bit LPCM audio recording. In addition to AVC-ULTRA (P2 MXF) format compatibility, the Panasonic AG-CX370 supports file transfer protocol, allowing recorded clips to be transmitted to broadcasters via wired network, Wi-Fi (AJ-WM50E optional), or USB connection through a mobile phone. This simplifies production workflows and significantly reduces content airtime. The new built-in GENLOCK input terminal ensures broadcast-quality synchronization in multi-camera environments, with images simultaneously displayed on multiple high-definition LCD screens and viewfinders. Focus and zoom settings can also be easily adjusted using a wired remote control or via IP networks through LAN connection.
Built-in 5-axis hybrid image stabilizer
The Panasonic AG-CX370 camera features a built-in hybrid image stabilizer that combines optical and electronic camera shake compensation. It corrects camera shake in 5 axial directions across all modes, including UHD, providing powerful shake compensation for low-angle shooting, high-angle shooting, and other unstable conditions. Three modes are available: NORMAL (standard), STABLE (effective for fixed-frame shooting), and PAN/TILT (effective for panning and tilting).
Three rings for manual control and focus assist
The Panasonic AG-CX370 camera features three manual control rings for zoom, focus, and aperture. They provide quick response and tactile feedback that will satisfy professionals. The zoom lever located on the top handle features multi-step variable zoom capability, enabling smooth ultra-low-speed zooming for low-angle shooting and tripod use. The Panasonic AG-CX370 also includes expansion and peaking functions (can be displayed simultaneously), manual focus assist, LCD touch focus (with auto-iris switching or brightness display capability), area focus, and one-touch autofocus assist.
Simultaneous display on high-brightness LCD and high-resolution OLED viewfinder
The Panasonic AG-CX370 features a new high-definition 3.2-inch LCD monitor (approximately 1,620,000 dots). This LCD monitor uses an RGBW (red, green, blue, white) pixel structure that ensures high-quality display even in bright sunlight. The 3:2 aspect ratio allows timecode and camera status to be displayed without overlaying the image. The touch panel provides convenient touch focus and menu adjustment. The viewfinder is a high-resolution color OLED display (approximately 2,360,000 dots, with approximately 1,770,000 dots image display area) that delivers excellent color reproduction. Since the Panasonic AG-CX370 supports simultaneous image output to both the LCD screen and electronic viewfinder, the LCD monitor can continuously display the captured image even when you look away from the electronic viewfinder.
Intelligent autofocus and face recognition/AE and AF tracking
The Panasonic AG-CX370 autofocus system features intelligent autofocus with a micro-drive focus unit for high focusing speed, superior tracking performance, and excellent stability. The face recognition AE and AF function can recognize human faces (up to 9 faces/automatically detects main face) and automatically adjust exposure and focus. Additionally, the autofocus and touch-tracking function allows following a subject (by color) when touching that subject on the LCD monitor.
HEVC codec for high-quality 10-bit 4K/60p image recording at low data rates
The Panasonic AG-CX370 can record in various formats with different compression levels. The camera records 4K (UHD) 60p/50p video with 10-bit high-quality images to SD memory cards. Using the highly efficient HEVC codec (H.265, LongGOP, 10-bit, 4:2:0, MOV), free software like VLC Media Player or QuickTime Player ensures smooth playback on laptops or MacBooks. The Panasonic AG-CX370 records MOV files that offer high compatibility and ease of use. This file format supports long file names up to 20 characters, making recorded video clips easy to manage. The Panasonic AG-CX370 also supports standard AVCHD recording, including AVCHD 8 Mbps mode widely used as a format for sports training analysis (e.g., college and professional football).
4K streaming capabilities with SRT protocol support
High-definition 4K (24p/25p/30p/50p/60p) streaming is supported. HD streaming output is possible during recording. Supported streaming methods include RTMP/RTMPS/RTSP/SRT protocols. The SRT protocol ensures high-quality streaming. Both client/listener mode and encryption are supported. You can choose between H.264/H.265 codecs and bitrates of 8/12/25/50/75 Mbps. USB modem using a 5G smartphone is also supported. It's compatible with many services like Facebook and YouTube, enabling live streaming without an external encoder. Automatic upload to a specified server is also available.
