The tiltable rear monitor with free viewing angles allows you to compose shots along the optical axis. The monitor can be rotated without disconnecting the cable, which also makes it extremely useful for video shooting. When shooting outdoors, the high-resolution OLED viewfinder (approx. 5,760k dots) supports natural framing.

Every button, dial and joystick is ergonomically designed and optimally positioned for intuitive use. It inherits the uncompromising functionality of the LUMIX S1RII and S1II, and its approximately 795g body is designed for mobility in the field. The operation lock lever helps prevent accidental adjustments.

In H+ continuous shooting mode, the camera delivers blackout-free shooting at approximately 10 fps with AF using the mechanical shutter*, allowing you to compose shots with confidence and support for post-shoot review. Switch to SH Burst or SH Pre-Burst continuous shooting modes with the electronic shutter, and you can capture important moments at up to 30 fps, even when shooting fast-moving scenes such as sports or wildlife.

The LUMIX S1IIE is equipped with a Phase Hybrid AF system that delivers high speed, precision and subject tracking, taking autofocus to a new level. With advanced AI technology, it can accurately detect and focus on eyes and faces even in challenging conditions where faces are tilted or partially obscured. The system now includes Urban Sports Recognition, allowing the camera to maintain precise focus on the subject even in dynamic sports scenes. In addition, the Motorcycle mode has evolved into a Motorcycle/Bicycle Recognition mode.
