For even more precise control, you can select “L/R Custom” in the Technics Audio Center app, which allows you to fine-tune the sound based on your exact listening position, ensuring the best possible audio quality wherever you are in the room.

Speaker impedance changes with different frequencies, which can make it challenging for traditional amplifiers to deliver consistent sound quality. This issue is even more pronounced in digital amplifiers due to the use of low-pass filters, which can further impact performance. To solve this, we created a speaker impedance adaptive optimization algorithm. Just you run the "LAPC Measurement Process" with your remote control, then the technology will measure the frequency and phase characteristics of the amplifier connected to your speakers and it will digitally correct them in real-time. The result is a smoother, more balanced sound with enhanced spatial depth and clarity, giving you a richer listening experience.

The SU-GX70 features a fully digital amplifier with Technics' advanced digital audio technology, processing signals digitally from input to output. This minimizes signal degradation from external noise, delivering precise, high-resolution sound while preserving the warmth of analogue recordings. Additionally, the JENO Engine in the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) reduces jitter, ensuring crystal-clear TV audio.

To ensure the SU-GX70 delivers the best possible sound when using HDMI ARC, video signals must be sent first, which can sometimes cause noise. To prevent this, the SU-GX70 outputs video signals at a lower rate with pixel colors set to zero, reducing noise and protecting sound quality. Additionally, the signals are transmitted from the TV to the JENO Engine via the shortest possible route, minimizing any jitter and ensuring crystal-clear audio. This unique approach by Panasonic/Technics as HDMI licensors guarantees you enjoy the highest sound quality with minimal interference.

In Pure Amplification Mode, the SU-GX70 enhances your listening experience by turning off the power supply to the network and HDMI circuits. By doing this, it eliminates any potential noise from these components or the antenna, allowing the amplifier to focus solely on delivering your music. This results in even clearer, more detailed sound quality, letting you enjoy your music with the highest level of purity and precision.

The design of the power supply is extremely critical in audio systems containing amplifiers, digital circuits and other such components. To eliminate any adverse effects on the amplifier, the SU-GX70 is equipped with a dedicated power supply for the power amplifier circuits that is independent from all other circuits. As such, the same electrolytic capacitors installed in high-end models have been used in the dedicated amplifier power supply and the power amplifier components. The SU-GX70 uses a high-speed switching power supply of approximately 130 kHz. By increasing the switching frequency, noise interference on the music playback bandwidth is reduced. This enables highly responsive power supply for music signals and powerful speaker drive capability.

The SU-GX70 uses a redesigned amp circuit inspired by the high-end SU-R1000, featuring the same symmetrical layout for optimal performance. We've also included top-quality audio components like low-noise FETs, thin-film resistors, and premium capacitors, just like in the SU-R1000. This attention to detail ensures the SU-GX70 delivers exceptional sound quality, giving you a exceptional audio quality.

The SU-GX70 supports a variety of music sources including radio, analogue input (PHONO(MM)/LINE), optical digital input (such as TV), coaxial digital input and USB input.
